Introduction

My name is Leonard Guenter, and I am writing to introduce myself as a candidate for County Commissioner of Precinct 2 because I believe it’s time for change and accountability in our community.  With strong commitment to the values that make our community strong, I am eager to work alongside you to ensure that our county continues to thrive. 

As a life-long resident of Burnet County, I understand the challenges and opportunities we face as our community grows.  However, I believe we can do better-by bringing fresh leadership that listens, takes responsibility, and acts with your best interest at heart. 

Our county deserves a leader who will prioritize our needs, foster responsible growth, and ensure that every decision is made with integrity and accountability. 

It’s time for a change-change that focuses on making sure your voice is heard and that our resources are used wisely and effectively.  I will always be transparent, accessible, and dedicated to serving you-without the distractions of self-interest or multiple jobs that take attention away from the people I ‘m here to serve. 

I promise to approach this role with the utmost respect for your concerns and needs, and I will always act in the best interest of our county-free from self-interest or outside distractions. My goal is to foster a county that values both progress and integrity, with a leadership style that listens and delivers results.
